  1. Operating System: What machines will GT run on ?

    2. GT will run on Windows NT, 2000, XP or Vista.

  2. Hardware: How much memory will I need to run GT ?

    3. The amount of RAM memory you will need will depend on the dpi (i.e. resolution) of your images (300 dpi is the default resolution), the size of the Drawing Area that you select, and the # of undo's that you choose.
    Windows itself requires approximately 100 MB. At 300 dpi, Letter Size Drawing Area and 5 undo's, you will need 197 MB of memory. An A3 (11" x 17") Drawing Area at 300 dpi with 5 undo's will require 369 MB of memory, but if you limit the # of undo's to 3, then only 248 MB of memory is required.
    Generally speaking, 512 MB is the minimum memory requirement, whereas 1 or 2 GB of memory will allow you more flexiblity in drawing area size and number of undos.

  3. Graphics Card: Will I need a special graphics card ?

    4. Having a graphics card in your machine, as opposed to having just "onboard graphics" will give you a better design experience.

  4. File Formats: What kinds of file formats does GT support ?

    5. GT supports all popular bitmap file formats, such as Jpeg, Tiff, PNG, PSD, BMP, PCX, PCT, Gif, TGA...

    7. Yes, we offer a one-on-one personalized online training service at $ 65 per hour. Usually a one hour session will be enough to get you started.   7. Software License: Can I run GT on multiple machines ?

    8. You can run the 30 Day Trial on as many machines as you like, for up to 30 days. Before you purchase a permanent licence of GT, you will first need to determine if you are happy with the machine that you are thinking of having GT on, as the licence activation will bind the GT software to that machine only.

  8. Design from Scratch: Can I create my own motifs and designs?

    9. Yes ! GT is a full featured paint and draw program, with a rich set of drawing tools, automatic fancy lines and borders, a tonal color fill facility, and an instant "Repeat" function for quick visualzation of how yor design looks when repeated out.

  9. Reading in Photos: Will there be any quality change if I read in a photo ?

    10. No, GT is a True Color (i.e. 16.7 Million Colors) program; your photos will not downgrade when you read them in.

  10. Change Colors: I am wearing a blue dress in a photo that I had scanned in. Can I easily change the color of the dress ?

  11. Photo Manipulation: What kinds of manipulations can I do to a photo ?

    12. There are many creative manipulations that you can do to photos in Graphics-Toolbox™. In addition to making Tonal Color Changes, we can resize, crop or fit part of our photo into a pre-defined space, combine photos to create interesting effects or turn a color photo black & white.

  12. Storing Colors: Is it easy to store my custom color choices?

    13. Yes, very easy ! We offer a color cards system for storing your colors. Each color can be given a name, and each color card can be named too.

  13. Matching Colors: I have a color sample in my hand, how can GT help me get this color to printout on my printer ?

    14. We offer several color matching options. In addition to the Daily Life Color Cards, we have over 4000 colors in our System Library, a Color Finder function to create tones of a color and the RGB glide to select an exact color formula.
